Discovering the Future of AI: A Journey at UKMYAI23 in Malaysia

Singular Intelligence was privileged to participate in the highly anticipated UK-Malaysia Artificial Intelligence Conference 2023, held at the Connexion Conference Centre in Bangsar, Malaysia. The conference aimed to unite experts, researchers, and enthusiasts from the United Kingdom and Malaysia, fostering exploration of the latest breakthroughs and trends in artificial intelligence.

The following were the themes that were explored during the conference.

Ø Ethics and Responsible AI

Ø AI in Business and Industry

Ø AI in Education and Skills

Ø AI Research and Innovation


During the conference, the CEO of Singular Intelligence, Mr. Sarvesh Kumar, actively participated in a panel discussion titled "Best Practices in Nurturing AI in Industry," serving as a distinguished panellist§.


Other panellists included UK and Malaysia Industry and academic experts. In summary, the panel discussed:

1. Learning from others – sharing of case studies and best practices, how adoption is done.

2. Understanding the context of AI adoption for the organization.

3. The AI system must be scalable, sustainable and align with human values - need to nurture AI.

4. Must have sector-specific knowledge and its dynamics.

5. AI for ESG and SDGs.

6. If your data is not ready for AI, you are NOT ready for AI - need good data management practices.

7. Encourage employees to use and embed AI in their work practices.

8. Preparing the ecosystem and culture.

9. Accelerate full rollout.


**The regulations and standards are only helpful if AI is adopted.

**Regulation is not the only answer to support the growth of AI and its adoption


For Singular Intelligence team -The UK Malaysia Artificial Intelligence Conference 2023 marked a milestone in international AI collaboration. Additionally, Sarvesh Kumar had the privilege to meet the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Haji Yusof, in the exhibition area where we had showcased Singular Intelligence along with other UK and Malaysian companies



The exchange of ideas and insights between industry leaders and government officials highlighted the collaborative spirit of UKMYAI23. These exchanges highlighted the critical interplay between industry, government, and academia in shaping the future of AI.


As AI continues to shape the future, the lessons learned and connections made at events like UKMYAI23 are invaluable in advancing the frontiers of technology and knowledge.
